Getting started

  1. After signing up you will be redirected to the sign in page. Sign in with your email address and password.

  2. You will be taken to your account settings. As it takes a few minutes to generate your Boxroom instance, it probably will not be ready yet.

    Wait a few minutes and click the reload button. Please email me if your instance is still not ready after half an hour.
  3. When your instance is ready click on the URL of your instance.

  4. You will be taken to your newly generated Boxroom instance. This will be the first time the web application gets started, so it may take some time for the page to load.

    The first thing you have to do is create an administrator for your instance. Create the account and sign in.
  5. Finally you will have to enter two important system settings. First you have to enter your Amazon S3 settings. If you do not have an account yet, you can sign up here. If you do have an account, sign in and create a new access key.

    Fill in your Access key ID and your Secret access key.

    System_settings
    The last step is to fill in a from address for the emails that get send from Boxroom. The application sends email when files are shared or when users want to reset their passwords. Any valid email address will do.
